Boca de Miel, a fishing village near Playa Blanca, just down the beach from Baracoa, Cuba
Curiously, fishing doesn’t seem to be an important part of this coastal Caribbean town’s economy. Locals told me the Cuban navy harasses fishing boats to deter people using fishing boats to fleei the country. And, for those who do fish, I’m told the government claims so much of a fisherman’s catch, tit’s hardly worth going out.
