Kampala Dump, Uganda (59 images)

At the town dump in Kampala, Uganda poor Ugandans and Marabou Storks scavenge through the garbage. The Ugandans here are defacto municipal recyclers, pulling out plastic, tin, electronic components and other valuables. The sell to middle men who truck the refuse to Kenya for recycling. The storks co-exist, going for food scraps.
