On the second afternoon of an 8-day, 225 mile rafting trip on the Colorado River,<br /> we came upon Red Wall Cavern at the 33-mile mark on the river. The enormous amphitheater was carved by high water flows into the Canyon’s limestone walls. It is accessible only by boat from the river. Our group played frisbee on the smooth sandy beach.
